times when before 2 3 days of Independence Day, our teachers used to tell us to

Independence Day – It is the national Holiday
in India. On this day each and every
whether its public or private, all organisation are closed. No one works this
day because this day is simply for celebrating the independence. 15th
August 1947 is the day when we got our freedom from the Mughal, European
people. Though there were lots of struggles in order to get the Independence
but after so many arguments, fights Indian got the freedom on 15th
August 1947.
From that day we all eagerly wait for 15th August to
celebrate this day when we were escaped from the European emperor. If we highlight the day of 15th
August 1947 then on this day, then the first prime Minister of India -
Jawaharlal Nehru hoist the national flag for the first time. The flying flag symbolises the independence
of our country. Jawaharlal Nehru raised the national flag in air at Red Fort
for the first time that is why this place has become the popular place to hoist
the national flag.
This day is all about to cheer up and
celebrate the happiness and freedom which we have got with lots of sacrifices
