Best Recipes for Independence Day Celebration -
Tiranga Sandwich –
Wouldn't you like to have a yummy sandwich of tricolour reminding you of the prestigious national flag. So here are the ingredients and the procedure to make the 'Tiranga Sandwich'.
Ingredients are as follows-
Bread slices as per the person
Cheese Slices
boiled chopped egg,
2 carrot, finely chopped
1 cup boiled and mashed green peas
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Tomato ketchup
Salt as per your taste
Procedure for Tiranga Sandwich -
To make Tiranga Sandwich all you have to do is - cut the corners of breads into triangular shapes. Now you have to make a mixture for the stuffing the sandwich. To make the stuff , you have to add mayonnaise, tomato sauce and salt in a bowl. To make sandwich you have to take a slice of triangular shaped bread and then apply the sauce .Then put the layer of boiled mashed peas to it .now take another bread piece and put some more sauce on it repeating the same followed by adding mashed peas later you have to put a layer of cheese and boiled egg and lastly have to put last bread piece. Tiranga Sandwich is ready to serve. For better taste you can put some more sauce over it.
Azadi Rabri –
Celebrations without sweets is like vole without money. So here is something tasty and too yummy dish named Azadi Rabri for you. which you can too make on the occasion of Independence day .grab the ingredients details and process to make it.
Ingredients to make it -
Two litres cream milk
Half cup chopped Pista and raisins
One Quarter cup chopped cashews
One Quarter cup raisins
One Quarter cup chopped almonds
6-7 pieces of Malai Peda/1/2 chopped cup khoya
Sugar as per your taste
Cardamom powder
Procedure of making Azadi Rabri -
First step to make Azadi Rabri is to boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan.
Keep stirring the milk till it becomes thick.
when the white colour of milk starts turning into light yellow ,
add chopped khoya, raisins and pista.
Cook the mixture for 10 minutes.
Flame should be low while the milk gets stirred.
Now when the mixture thickens, add nuts and cardamom powder for aroma.
Now you can put it in a glass container or a kulhad garnishing it with some nuts finally put it in refrigerate.
Serve chilled.
